50th Birthday
Fifty and fabulous: gold, black and half a century of stories.
Turning 50
A 50th deserves a proper party, and black, gold and silver give it the right weight: a big 50 on the wall, a balloon garland and a table that looks like a celebration. Ivory softens it if the guest of honour prefers quieter colours.
The best moments are the stories. A quiz on the year they were born, fifty facts with half of them invented and a circle of short toasts from old friends and family will make the evening, and the cake can wait until the last speech.
